Death Eaters at Hogwarts. I can't tell what's going on yet but GET HERE NOW. I think the professors are fighting back.

[ DMLE ]
There are Death Eaters attacking Hogwarts right now. I can't see how many or what they're doing but there's definitely fighting.

He just showed up. I would've tried to ward you all but there was no time. I don't know if anybody heard the broadcast but the Minister's completely off his rocker.

Also, I've been suspended from the WWN. They don't look kindly on hexing guests and even less kindly on hexing the Minister.

I don't suppose I'm lucky enough that the radios across the country suddenly all broke right before noon today, am I?

Who else will be at the Melifluas' Valentines Charity Ball? Apparently I'm going. Kill me now. What should I be on guard for?

Among the vast number of things wrong with this Muggleborn bill, here's another one to throw on the pile:

The people actually affected by this bill (that is, baby Muggleborns and their parents) aren't even allowed a say or a vote in it.

[ Former Gryffindor Quidditch Players ]
Hello everyone. Remember back a month or so ago when I said, hey! We should all get together and have a Quidditch party and remember the good old times! Drinks, Quidditch, bonding, the whole thing.

Well, have I got news for you lot. My cousin Ricky is dating a woman who works for the Montrose Magpies (GO MAGPIES) and she's arranged for us to reserve their Pitch for the night of February 23rd. We've got our party set, Lions. We'll start around 7 and this is your official notice. Mark your calendars.

Bring wives or boyfriends or whoever, just as long as they're all right with a night of Quidditch reminiscing.

[ Gawain Robards ]
So, if I'm going to get you a boyfriend, I need to know what you're into. Let's have it.

I'm not going to lie about this, I was surprised. I've no idea if the bloke's a Death Eater or not but with how badly the DMLE and the Minister needed a conviction, I thought it'd be him.

Godric, that's awful. I don't even have kids and I can't imagine.

Two people were murdered. That's a tragedy no matter what their blood status and anybody who says differently--or who believes it'd be less of a tragedy if they weren't Purebloods--is a damn fool.

1. I hate squirrels.

2. I'm signing up for every class we offer. I clearly need them.

I usually love Christmas. I mean, I don't get into it as much as, say, when I was eight or so, but I still enjoy it. Clark used to tease me that I was cynical eleven months of the year and then he just didn't recognize me in December. I don't think it's just me, though--a lot of people spend the year looking forward to Christmas. I've got a pretty solid relationship with my family, despite the occasional jab about being unmarried or not giving grandchildren and all that. I've learned to live with that, and it's only one topic of discussion for the night, anyway. Plus my brother shoulders the burden, too.

This year, though, I've just not gotten into it. The shop's a bit done up but Ricky did most of that. My flat's got a wreath on the door and that's all. I didn't even bother to get a tree. Our family's gift giving is a bit meager this year but that's come down to the cost and time of repairing our shop from October's attack.

I don't know what's got the Christmas Blues into me this year but they're here, and it's frustrating. Maybe tomorrow I'll cheer up, but if I'm not in the spirit yet, I don't see how I'll get there tomorrow.

Godric, I sound like such a whinger. All I want for Christmas is World Peace.

As far as euphemisms and double standards go, "confirmed bachelor" is infinitely preferable to "old maid." Discuss.

[ Former Gryffindor Quidditch Players ]

We lot are going to have some kind of reunion get together in January, I've decided. I know I didn't play with all of you in my time but I've kept up with the team in the years since I left school and feel like I know you all just so well. You know, and all that sensitive crap.

Anyway, I figure January will give us time to get over the holiday hangover and take a night for drinking, then Quidditch, and then more drinking. I haven't got it all lined up just yet but before I go through all that I just want to make sure the Red and Gold are willing to come out for it. I expect each and every one of you there.

So, as a preface, I haven't seen the ballet yet. I've got tickets for my Mum and myself for tonight's performance and after all this controversy I wouldn't dream of passing it up, right? Besides, she used to take me every Christmas until I went to Hogwarts. She even signed me up for ballet lessons when I was five, but I refused to go. A puffy pink skirt? Not for me, no matter how much my mum wanted me to be girlier. Anyway. I haven't seen The Nutcracker in 20 odd years so I guess I don't remember it very well, but...

Well, I thought Clara was supposed to be a Muggleborn.

Lucky me. I've got grandparents with magical with magical heritage going back centuries and Muggle grandparents who've taught me lots about Muggle culture. I guess I get to celebrate both weeks, or neither.

[ Warded to Vivienne and Benedict Avery, and Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy ]
As you may know, I'm a host on the WWN doing news stories during the day. Tomorrow I'm running a story on next week's Purism Week celebration and I was wondering if I could get a quote from any or all of you to include?

Mr and Mrs Avery, I am looking to you in this ward because it's my understanding you're quite involved in the play that will be premiered next week. Would you like to share anything about it?

As another note, who else might I talk to about the week?

[ Warded to the Order ]
Lucky me, I pulled a story on Purism Week next week. Anybody have any comments they'd like to make? They can be anonymous or credited, either. You know, so long as I can actually repeat them on-air.
